Value champion against future-proof flagship
These are the two 6K monitors Mac owners cross-shop most. Both are 32-inch Retina-density panels that macOS renders at a clean 2×. Both have dual Thunderbolt ports, daisy-chain, a KVM and 96W charging. They differ in panel, bandwidth, stand and $700.

The LG UltraFine evo uses a 6144 × 3456 Nano IPS Black panel at 224 PPI, rated at 2,000:1 contrast (labs measured about 1,500 to 1,720:1), with 98% DCI-P3 plus 99.5% Adobe RGB. Blacks look properly dark rather than grey in a dim room. The ASUS PA32QCV is a 6016 × 3384 IPS panel at 218 PPI with 1,500:1 contrast, 98% DCI-P3, Calman Verified calibration and an anti-glare LuxPixel coating. In daylight the gap is small; at night the LG looks noticeably deeper.
Thunderbolt 5
The LG’s two Thunderbolt 5 ports run at 80 Gb/s, and the downstream port can daisy-chain a second full 6K 60 Hz display, which Thunderbolt 4 cannot. 6K itself runs at 60 Hz on both monitors, so Thunderbolt 5 buys bandwidth and a second display, not a faster refresh.
Stand
This is the ASUS’s clearest win. It offers 130 mm of height travel with tilt, swivel and pivot. The LG’s L-shaped stand moves only 60 mm vertically and does not swivel, so taller users or anyone without a monitor arm should take note.
